A while back in this thread somebody mentioned Koosharem. I heard they are going to drain Koosharem dry this Fall. The DWR told the water users to drain it dry because at the RAC meetings people wanted it to have a slot placed on it. The DWR doesn't want a slot on it and the chubs have come back big time in there. The DWR told the water users to drain it because they are getting heavy pressure from Wasatch Front fly fishermen to change the regulations and the DWR doesn't want to change the regulations. That is what I heard. Koosharem is not part of the Upper Sevier Water Users Assocation so they can do whatever they want.
