BFT unofficial Foot Ball Pool week 4
#21
[#000000]With another week coming to a close, lets take a look at the Week #3 action. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]We begin in Indianapolis, where the Colts used an 82 yard punt retun for a TD to get past the pesky Jaguars 21-14, while the Bears, on a late TD pass from Rex Grossman, rallied to beat the Vikings 19-16. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Carson Palmer threw for 4 touchdowns, and the Bengals got a bit of redemption, as they knocked off the Steelers 28-20, while the Ravens kicked a last second field goal to nip the Browns 15-14. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Matt Hasselbeck threw for 5 touchdowns as the Seahawks "Thumped" the Giants 42-30, while the Broncos shut down Tom Brady and the Patriots 17-7. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The return of Steve Smith and a last second field goal by John Kasay, lifted the Panthers over the Buccaneers 26-24, while the Eagles, led by Brian Westbrook's 3 touchdowns, soared past the 49ers 38-24. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Jets zipped past the Bills 28-20, while the Cardinals fumbled away victory, as the Rams won the "Battle of the Turnovers" 16-14. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Dolphins kicked a late field goal to slip past the Titans 13-10, while Mark Brunell set an NFL record with 22 straight completions, as the Redskins downed the Texans 31-15. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Finally, in the Monday Night finale, the "Saint-sational" Saints danced to a 23-3 victory over the Falcons, as they brought football back to the city of New Orleans.

[#deab52][#000000]So Lion fans, are you lost for words? Don't you just want to call for a "Do Over"? That would be wonderful but unfortunately we are not back in the second grade but rather in the NFL where our beloved Lions are now 0-3. What a mess we have built for ourselves. Yes, it's very early and our team did show some signs of hope on offense. So as we get ready to watch our Lions play the Rams this week, we seriously need to come away with a victory or the outlook on our season is one that looks very bleak. Think I will buy another lottery ticket [crazy][/#000000][/#deab52]

[#deab52][#000000]now on to the bad news.[/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000][/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000]The word is out, americans will not be allowed to buy tickets for 2007's season opening game. Why? Well you can but you will first need to get a pasport and a plane or boat ticket to china. [/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000][/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000]I did not studder, thats right, next years opening game will be played in china.... So much for all american football.[/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000][/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000]It wouldnt be so bad if the lions were playing their opening game there, no one would care. Sorry I forgot the names of the teams that will be playing to season start next year. not that it realy matters, unless the teams are from your home town and you want tickets....[/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000][/#000000][/#deab52]
[#deab52][#000000]If you go to the opener next year, Remember to not take your dog on the trip. China has an animal cruelty law, they concider petting your dog abusive. "It has something to do with not playing with your food" "Yes this is ture"[/#000000][/#deab52]
