Thanks for the comments. I selected a fly that to the eye had a good taper to the body and a smooth looped wing. But when I croped the picture and made it bigger so one could see the fly better you see that the imperfections get larger.

] As a dry a lot of Greenback Cutthroat trout liked that pattern this summer. The wet version is one of my cousins favorite patterns. For some reason I have not fished it as a wet so it will be good to have yours to have a go with.
