My oldest son, Nathan, is the commander of the Box Elder Sheriff Search and Rescue possee, and the other son, Joseph, is a mortician in Logan. There have been several times when Nathan has recovered a body and Joseph did the embalming on him.
Last year I drove to St. George with Joseph in the funeral home van to pick up a lady who died there and bring her body back to Tremonton for the funeral. When he put the cot into the van he forgot to put the wood block in front of the cot. We later pulled up to a stop sign and hit the brakes rather hard to get stopped. The cot with the covered body rolled forward and thumped between our seats. Joe looked down and nonchalantly said "Well, Hello Mrs. Hansen." That freaked me out and I about lost my composure.
I hope they can find the bodies soon also. Acey
