How Times Have Changed
#2
You radical you......[pirate][sly]

Ya opened up a nasty can of worms, I almost spilt all over the place....

today a parrents hands are tied. especialy if he dosnt have the funding to bribe then take away the bribes as punishment.

todays orphanages are at an all time high in america, and on top of it they put those who are there for corrections in the same play pen as those who are there because their families could no longer take care of them.

whats worse now is a city just a couple miles from my house has passed a law this week that what ever the child under 18 has done the parrent will do the time for. not both child and parrent, just the parrent.

I agree with it only in part because it is a partial solution. both need to be thrown in jail together. that is father and son or mother and doughter. if community service is the repremand then the entire family, mother father sisters and brothers need to understand the lesson to be learned.

the other short comming of this law is that the parrent hasnt any tools to control the child. you cant call the police on them and have them taken to a jail cell with out having child services getting involved.

I agree that we as a society need to sit down and make a way that dosnt leave a kid able to hold a family for ransom, or leave a parrent to force a child to live in terror.

there needs to be ballance in all things, for when that ballance is tipped, economies fail, corporations fail, families fail, societies fail, governments fail, worlds and planets fail.

the goal of any such laws should be for correcting the behavour at an early age, not forcing a kid to hold back anger for 5-6 grades only to expload one day or run off to become a terrorist.

(no more running away to join the circus these days)
