TD- Our scoutmaster is a "die-hard" when it comes to these scout campouts. We go no matter if it is raining, snowing, bitter cold, etc. But the downside is that not as many boys showed up as we had planned for. We had scads of groceries left over, but most will keep and get used on our next trip. Our scoutmaster got stomach problems that night and had to go home, so he missed the cold. His stomach was rumbling so loud I felt sorry for him. He says he wasn't feeling very good before he ate the chili and scones, and was worse afterwards. No one else got sick.
There was a full moon that came out about 9 pm, so a bunch of us took a hike out on the east end in the moonlight. It was so bright and beautiful out there. I guess the positive outweighs the negatives. Acey
