shopping for a new reel

Man, there's something else i'd like to see Penn fix on the "9," the gear ratio. I use to use Penn 9's for anchor reels when I live bait fished on piers all the time. You strap a Penn 9 on a 10 or 12 foot rod, and if you have the touch you can spool it everytime. It's a long ride at the end of the day when you've got to crank that anchor back in. I ended up graduating to a Penn Squidder. [cool]
