A lot of the tubing I do is for bass, and often a good selection of lures and plastics makes a big difference in overall results. When I first started tubing, my plastic finesse baits would just be loose in a pocket, and more than once, I sent a full pack of Gary Yamamoto's finest plastics down to Davy Jones locker by accident. Realizing this needed to change, I looked extensively for options to carry a good selection of plastic baits afloat. I have been extremely satisfied with a product line one can purchase from Bass Pro shops called finesse binders. They are enclosed "loose leaf" binders that can hold bags full of the plastics you want to use. They fit nicely in the pockets of my Fat Cat and allow excellent organization. I then take one Plano plastic box for crankbaits, one for jig heads, and carry a few selected items loosely in the pocket holding the finder battery. (see pics) They work great, and I rarely find myself wishing I had brought a certain lure. I have been extremely pleased with these items for tubing.
As for the 12 pack, I don't have much experience with that, but I thought I saw something on this forum about someone rigging up a cooler that was towed by the tube or pontoon. I agree that it sounds like too much urination for my liking. I guess I would rather fish.
