Grantsville isn't a major brown fishery. There are a few fish like that in every lake, but most of the fish I've ever caught out there were 12-18 inches. That isn't going to change because of smallmouth bass, especially considering that brown trout are a more voracious predator than smallmouth bass. There aren't 100 fish like that swimming around in a small lake like Grantsville. There's like five or ten, and there will still be a few of those out there because a fish that is going to grow that size does so by eating other fish, not crayfish. Fish are a lot more adjustable than you'd like to give them credit for. Brown are a more piscivorous species anyways, choosing to eat fish over anything else. No crayfish? Lots of bass minnows? They'll change their diet.
