I had a buddy get hurt pretty bad from a thresher shark. It wasn't a big shark, probably only about 5 foot long. They boated it without a second thought. That shark whipped my buddies leg and ripped the flesh right off. He's still got a nasty scar from it.
LOL, speaking of Cobia, I just made a note on a previous post about boating a "green" cobia. [sly] Those fish are super strong and have been known to destroy the inside of a boat. Unless you've actually caught a cobia, it's hard to describe the brute force that they have. Just as undescribeable, is the wonderful flavor of the meat those fish have. They are one of the most great tasting species in the world of fishing.
