No ice fishing today , the winds are just too bad !
Trashcans are blowing all over the roads and lakes headed off somewhere to the east .
Ice is still good for walking on in the indland lakes but I wouldn't venture out on the big lakes if someone double dog dared me too .
I can see the reports coming in now of ice breaking apart and sending some anglers on a cruse to the Canadian waters .
Monday a pal of mine latched onto a 5 lb. channelcat on a wax-worm out on Wixom Lake , said it fought like a walleye .
Other than that , gills and crappie have been doing fine on every body of water .
I haven't heard much on how the pike bite has been but , I hope someone would post some of there catches soon .
