The lid thingy should work out fine. From the looks of your pose in the new tube, even the stripping apron may be too high. I'm sure that if your hanging around with my Pops from time to time that some of his ingenuity will rubb off on you for sure.( I don't discredit the brains that you already have)
Do you think that tube would hold a 30 pack in the back??? I could just see the Spud boy and I with a pair of those tubes. We wouldn't have to come off the water for quite a while(in the summer)
