We got there this morning about 6:30, we were the first ones on the ice in the narrows. It was raining but we went on down and tried it any way. Some one had left a big floor joice(spelling), at the shore, so getting on the ice was no problem but there is several feet of open water that you must cross. Ice was a little solf on top but not bad and no cleats were needed. Holes from the day before were still open, if it stays like that much longer the ice will be gone even though it was over 12 inches thick.
