I've been to Strawberry a few times this year, and wish I could have gone more. I stayed a bit closer to home, and fished many of the lakes that I haven't fished in the past. While I agree that there are fewer fish that can be kept and fewer fish overall, I don't think that DWR should be criticized, nor do I think that people should abandon any ideas of fishing this awesome lake. I have done quite well there this winter, but I had to fish hard and use methods that I haven't had to use any other years. None of the people I usually fish with have been turned away by the new regulations, and I'm sure we'll be spending some time up there this summer. With any luck the cutts will chew down that 31% chub population, and we'll be seeing some huge fishies in the years to come.
