10 to 15 is actually mild for the normal afternoon winds. Sometimes it kicks up earlier, sometimes later. Other times it stays away and at times it can come in at around 40kts.
I already have plans to keep that craft away from any windy situations unless it is late enough on the incoming tide that it will just help me into shore.
I do like mild winds in my FC4. That one handles like a dream. I had that one at one of my favorite lakes in a 25 to 30mph wind. It sure was a good work out on the legs. Even at that lake, the wind always blows from the North west. The launch ramp is at the South East end so there is never a problem of getting blown to the other side of the lake.
It usually helps to strengthen the ole legs.[cool]
