Well on this dissusion of catching big fish, I've noticed at the gorge two things can happen after getting a large mack to the net. One the bladder fills and won't release trapping the fish at the surface. And the second problem that I've ran into is exahustion. I've caught many large macks and don't over fight them or do anything but maybe take a quick picture and release. Even when I do take a picture and release I always keep the fish in the water until everything is ready.
Although it rarely happens I've always ran them into shallow water before seeing them off so if they do sink they will have enough oxegen to revive eventually. Am I doing anything wrong and is there anything else to do?
