For all you huys out there looking for a planer to fish trout, walleye, musky and other fish, you might want to check out these board.

These are really small boards. They dont weigh much and arent large in profile so they dont put much drag on your rod. If you dont like reeling in the boatd and fighting it these boards are great but they also have the option to pull free and slide along the line until they hit the swivel a few feet from the boat. Then they come off the line just by pulling up the rear pin. That way they arent permanently attached to the line. Its about the best planer board design I have ever seen. They make several models and sizes, I have the small ones the t-x-6 mini mag's There only draw back is they are so small they dont do well in rough water where the waves crach over them, and are so light weight that they skip at high speeds so if you troll them for wipers at five mph they jump around a bit. But they do make bigger boards for the rough water. I just think the design and ease of use if far superior to any board I have ever used. Made me sell my offshores instantly.

Everyone has thier opinion though. But if you want a light weight small board that you dont need an ultra heavy rod to use it with, these boards may be what you want. Plus they are cheaper. $10.00 a piece rather than the normal $20.00 a piece for offshores.
