I was thinking about trying to attend this get-together until I read the part about too many ex-Air Force guys attending.[
] I did my four years at Lackland back in the '70's.
If I can make it, I'll be coming alone, or maybe I can get my fishing buddy to sign up here and come with me. Will it still be possible to get a campsite, or will someone have some extra space I can pitch my tent on? What kind of fishing will y'all be doing, should I bring my surf rod?
If I can make it, I'd like to go up on Friday. A friend of mine (the first husband of my second wife) who I used to play in a band with lives in Myrtle Beach and has a house gig every Friday and Saturday. It would be fun to drag a guitar along and sit in with him.
Any information would be helpful, since I'm new to Georgia, it would be nice to meet some fellow anglers.
