How many psi do you put in your tube or toon
#23
Okay noob question for inflating tubes with the "pontoon" ends. I bought the ODC 420 the other day and took it to a local pond with a buddy to try it out and was wondering with the ends should fill up and be as firm as the rest to the tube. The main tubes on the side seemed pretty firm but the end where it comes to a point was kinda squishy. Maybe after seeing the post a few days ago, I became more paranoid about popping a bladder. I went out with the ends a little squishy and it seemed fine. I enjoyed sitting higher up on the water, just needed to adjust the back seat rest a little. Also, having a two pole permit and no rod holders made things kind of problematic, luckily I only brought two pole with me. I have no clue when it comes to making anything, my friend suggested I find a PVC rod holder for a boat and secure it to the side, besides that it was fun, caught about 4 kitties, biggest was 15 inches, tried for some carp using dough balls but no luck. A friend of mine caught some biggins at bountiful lake, one went 14 lbs. Put up a good fight he said.
Anyway, be heading out to lost creek next wednesday, hopefully have it a bit more rigged. Thanks for that best of the best sticky, saw some good info in there.
I saw that tricked out 420 from atfishing and am extremely jealous.
