Difference in "spincasting" and "casting" reels?

I third that notion. I only use spinning tackle for the smaller species of fish that require the use of lures of bait too light to cast with a baitcasting style reel. The only exception is in saltwater, by which I use a larger spinning reel for bait chunking to specific species. But, the reason is still the same as the baits I chunk are too light for a baitcasting reel. [cool]
