remembering that I am new to this .. but I am a reforming smoker.. so with that in mind.. I used a small box of arm and hammer baking soda to help keep the "aroma" of my truck cab down when I smoked in it.. its an old tried and true thing that still works for me..
since I dont catch many fish (yet) I dont use my net very often.. so it has not presented an odor problem in my trunk..
.. now here is another idea.. in the past my yard has gotten hit by a skunk.. and that aroma does drift.. on line we found a remedy to get it out of the house.. and that is to heat up a bottle of vinegar and let that steam go thru the house.. I would think.. but not sure.. that if you heated up a pot of vinegar to a good boiling.. and then set it in the trunk (open lid mind you so you dont forget its there).. it should be able to knock down a lot of that aroma.. Id follow with an open box of baking soda.. and see what happens...
