Portable Sonars for Canoe

I am looking for a portable sonar for use in our canoe. I've heard of people gluing the transducer to the inside (bottom) of their canoes. I've looked at various brands at Cabelas, but I'm at a lose as to where to begin looking. I don't need anything beyond the basic sonar... water temp and speed sensors would be handy, though.

Any ideas?
