yes I live in north San Diego county.. east of Oceanside..

I am not a member of the fly fishers.. keep telling myself I will but have not yet..

I have not been to the fly shop you mention but have gone to the san diego fly shop in solana beach.. good guys there .. that is where I got the fly tying kit that started this thread...:-)... also there is a sport chalet near me that has a small fly area decent selection on most items.. some rod/reels.. rod cases.. line..tippet.. leader but that two largest areas are flies (pretied in a package) and fly tying material.. is still small but is better than nothing...
