You are right about the File-New Window. Thanks for adding it in. I thought about putting it in, and decided to go with the permanant fix. This way, if you pause to read your email between posts and click on a link, it doesn't take over your BigFish window. It opens a new one.
Most of the old DOS shortcuts still work in all of the Windows OS up to XP. Since I started doing this about 10 years ago, after I busted up my back at Geneva, I learned them and still try them out here and there.
