Yes, there was a lot of water bubbling up, it looked like a steady boil. This is the first time I have fished the bubble up and I was amazed at sight. The best spot we found was to cast right on the edge of the boiling water where it started to calm, just like fishing the edge of a current in a river. The water coming in was also much clearer than the rest of the lake.
