That is an awesome fish. I am not trying to scare anyone away from Ashton Reservoir, but if you are planning on ice fishing it be careful. There are many soft spots in the ice from springs and undercurrents especially by the dam. I have seen ice fishermen go through the ice there. Just be safe I would hate to hear of anyone dying out there going after any record.
