[#0000ff][size 1]I do not believe that this has always been the case. I was told for a period of time the DWR tried to get approval to plant shad into Yuba Reservoir. The feds would never approve it because then there would be shad on both sides of Utah Lake that could easily be moved by the anglers to Utah Lake and in the process further impact the June Suckers. With all of the federal rules and regulations these days it is virtually impossible for the DWR to plant shad or anything similar in any bodies of water.[/size][/#0000ff]
