[cool]You remind me of me. It's hard to be patient when you are on to something new and you just wanna spend all your time at it. All I can say is that if you keep at it, and learn the right way, you will succeed in not only getting a legal...but probably some real "barndoors" too.
Hey, there are lots of guys who are halibut specialists, and real pros, who don't always get legals. There is a lot of pressure on the fish, and the big ones don't get big by being easy...or stupid. But, it isn't always total skill that gets them either. I have seen some real big halibut taken by anglers on their first trips...often while fishing for just anything that bites, and not even thinking about halibut. I like to see the happy looks on their faces, but then I want to punch them out for catching my fish too.
