yeah i was fishing the same yuba you were fishing.. you know i'm not going to say i will not ice fish it till after April.. but i will wait for 3 or 4 weeks and see if them perch move out of the areas i want to fish.
some small perch are ok but not a school of 500 ripping apart every thing ya drop down.. lol it's like there is so meny perch that the pike will never see your bait before they have picked it clean.. and with the 10 fish rule you can't keep catching perch to attract the pike to you ether..
i think it's going to be a tall order this year to pull a pike out of there.. just way to much food every where..
