There were snowmobiles driving along the shore line, but not out on the ice.
The ice thickness varies so much right now, they just didn't dare try driving on the ice yet.
They did get folks out to the ice instead of taking the long walk that we did.
I would not take a wheeler there.
Snowshoes were a life saver for me.
Over at the Marina, the word was that the ice was a lot thinner.
