Yuba again.. Report and video

Back when the perch were big, before the last crash, say 8-9 years ago, we fish open water in January from my boat, near the dam. We caught lots of big fish, average about 14". My wife and I caught 20 fish one day that weighed 24#. We fished big jigging spoons, like 1/3 oz Swedish Pimples, etc. Just wondering if doing the same thing now would keep the smaller fish off. Any ideas? It's a long way from SLC to Yuba, don't want to go down there with the mandatory keep rule and a ten fish limit.
