I can't stand the hula popper. Never caught anything on it. I am new to fishing for bass so maybe I am not doing it right. Anyways I favor only one lure and that is the Jitterbug. Black and Yellow are my favorite ones. the 5/8 oz. ones. I have a weedless one too. Jitterbugs are the best. I am 20 and well I was fishing this summer with one and one guy said he had a bunch of them but he never used them anymore. I find that not many people use them even though they use to be popular. I figure since they are so old fashioned and most people like buzz baits that the good old jitterbug just is not used that it would do the trick since it is already perfected and used so little that it is odd. It sure ticks the fish off. They really just explode from the water. The jitterbug in my opinion can not be beat.
