Went down to the grand river here in Grand Rapids. The river was high and moving quite fast. Warm weather melting all the snow and rain has really pushed the river up. There was also a fair amount small branches and other debris in the water making fishing from shore difficult and wading somewhat dangerious. I stayed just long enough to test out the new waders and wet a line for a few minutes. Conditions are expected to get worse as temps will be mid 50's tomorrow.
ps.. waders worked great. Not sure who invented neoprene but I'd really like to buy them a beer.
