Hello, I am from Utah and am in huntington beach staying with my sister and her family till wed. Ive been here for a couple days now and have not had to much luck fishing. we have caught a couple small surf perch and a small leopard shark. along with 2 small small fish that i could not tell what they were. last time i was here i caught alot of macrole. I would like to start catching some more fish but dont really know what to try. I have been using small little jigs and little fly type things. We caught the shark on some squid. Is their a time of day that i should try for better results? Ive been going between 12 and 4 with my nephew. Me and bobfrapples (my brother inlaw) are going to try going later at night some time while i am here. Anyways if any of you have any advice you could share that would be great. Thanks
