Questions for Flaming Gorge????

I fish Flaming Gorge around fifteen times a years one week long trip, and the rest two or three day trips. However I have never fished for burbot, and was wondering where to go, what depth to fish in, how deep to fish, and what to use. I was also wondering how thick the ice is between Lucerne and Horse Shoe Canyon, and if there are any good reports of lakers from that area. I would really like to go burbot fishing this weekend, so any advice would help.
