when michigan dnr says water levels are low, they are refering only to the great lakes.. it has nothing to do with inner lake and river levels.
as for you noting water levels being high, I can say the same thing about the huron river system on the east side, Hamburg was about under water due to the two inch rain we got on top of the frozen ground. this made for a water shed that filled all the low lying areas... The waters are receeding back twards maintained levels...
we aint doin no fishing over here on the east side.[]
