New Strains of Rainbow Trout Hatch in Wild, Reistant to Whirling Disease
#6
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has Hofers in the hatchery system. Apparently they are everything the Colorado Division of Wildlife claims them to be. They seem to be growing faster than our strains of rainbows and are very resistant to whirling disease. They show great promise in our whirling disease infected waters here in Utah.
