High end Rods???

I fished with Cajun at Mantua last year and the only difference in the amount of fish caught was his exp. is much more than mine in the bass department. We each caught huge numbers of fish and the only trouble i had was the line i had on my reel kept breaking on the set. Not enough give in braid for a grand slam hook set. I changed to mono and had no trouble. I have never fished with a rod(excluding fly rods) that cost over $50 except his rods and aside from being lighter i really noticed no difference. Maybe i better fish with a person who has $300+ rods and see for myself. I am not in the least bit knocking you Cliff but it is hard to justify that kind of $$ at this point.[cool]
