I think its more than just sensitivity...you really need to consider the weight, balance and of course warranty and quality. All things taken into consideration i'd take the high end rod every time, now if i could just afford to do so. My Loomis rods are the ones i reach for when i know it is going to be a long day. Give them the sore elbow and wrist test from fishing for 8 hours with the ugly stick then the next rip with a loomis....i believe you will be converted. My old honda is reliable, starts and runs fine...but do enjoy the luxury ride as well...LOL
