Live mice as bait??

[#0000ff]Seems there was an angler who was not having any luck, but could see a big brown finning in a deep hole. He tried every bait and lure in his collection without a nudge from the big fish. Wondering what he should try next, he spied a garter snake on the creek bank holding a mouse in its mouth. hinking that a mouse just might be a good bait for the brown, the angler grabbed the occupied snake and pulled the mouse away from it. But, before sending the snake on its way, he poured a few drops of scotch (his favorite streamside libation) into the poor snakes open mouth and let it go. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Sure enough, the angler attached the still struggling mouse to a large hook and sent it down to the big fish. The fish erupted up from his lair on the bottom and gulped the mouse. That brown turned out to be the biggest trout the angler had ever caught. He was shaking as he released it back into the stream.[/#0000ff]
