RCreek – Thx. I searched Petsmart yesterday, and they don’t carry food-Mickey’s (you heard the term here first[
]). I knew the next stop was some kind of local joint. At $2 a pop, this’ll add up pretty quickly, so I don’t see this as a full blown operation. I’m assuming one mouse per hookup, because I’m assuming it’s the live, struggling action that serves as the attractant, and I’m assuming that Mickey ain’t gonna make it thru more than one spin cycle.

Also, go back and read TD’s reply # 6. The mouse isn’t getting impaled: the hook is attached to the mouse via rubberband.

Leaky – I don’t recognize that, but I’m guessing some primitive mousetrap? If so, this seems like less fun than empty MRE’s and rocks[

Petsmart has mice, but they intend to sell them as pets so they are about $5. They ask you if you are going to use them as pet food and if you say yes then they won't want to sell the mouse to you. They have frozen mice in the freezer for pet food. The best local joint to get live mice is Mark's Ark on Redwood road in Taylorsville. Stinks like hell in there but man do they usually have alot of mice. That's because they have so many snakes that need to eat!
