that is what they did on willard a few years back. They cabled a bunch of trees together on the ice late in the season and let them sink when the ice melted. I agree with TD that they would be long gone. Willard is the kind of place that would benefit from that type of project though. There is almost no structure other than the rocks from the dike. a few shallow places grow weeds but the main lake has little structure
