.. are they for stillwater or streams ?

... can these be used for anything other than carp.. and if so what other fish will these target.??

Mac,

They are made with 5 minute, 2 part epoxy with a tiny drop of food dye or fabric paint added. Bead chain "eyes" are tied onto the hook with a figure eight tie. Then the epoxy is mixed, the color added, and the eyes are coated while rotating the vise. When enough has been added you continue turning until it sets. Later the rest of the fly is dressed to suit.

They're primarily used for bonefish in shallow, still water. They fish right on the bottom. The hook rides up to avoid snagging. I've only recently made these so I haven't used them yet. I've been told that the carp really like them. Any fish that feeds on the bottom would probably go for them, too.
