I'm not exactly sure when the lake "turns", but if I were you I would keep an eye on wayneswords.com for all your Lake Powell needs and info. The fishing will get better when the water temp's rise. Right now they are around 47-49 degree's and the fishing really picks up when it gets into the 60's. So like I said, keep an eye on wayneswords to see what is happening down there. On his site you can go to the "water level" (not water level contest) section and click on that and it will give you all sorts of info including the water temp!!! Good luck down there and let us know how you do.
