Yea, that sounds like the same method we have used when fishing for the burbot. When we fished farther up the lake, that late in the day all we caught were burbot. It makes me wonder if there are fewer burbot in the area you were fishing. Sounds like you were fishing at spring creek that is at The Glades. From the map I have, it looks like that area is near some deep water, was there a rocky shore line where you were fishing?
