Keep and eye on the flows to determine your best time to float. I use the USGS water web site to keep tabs. www.usgs.gov. Then look for the realtime streamflow tables. You can float the river just about any time, but may have to wade over a few gravel bars along the way. The fishing usually stays really good till they crank up the flows to start feeding the farmers. Check with the B.L.M. on the camping thing. I know the canyon stretch is a big game corridor, and they do not allow vehicle travel for part of the year. Good luck, and hopefully better fishing![cool]
