OH THAT LITTLE STINKER !!!! She got me. Guess that's what I get for leaving my computer logged in. [crazy]
Anyway.... I use an Abu Garcia 753 Cardinal reel. I just bid on another one, a Cardinal MX130R on ebay tonight. Hopefully in another 17 more hours it will be mine.
I like the rear drag control and fast cast trigger features. Plus I'm a bit partial to the Cardinal series reels because my grandpa's last name was Cardinal. He's the one that dragged me up and down the Ausable huntin walleye as a kid.
For rod I use a Shakespeare 10'6 light action spinning rod. My buddy let me use his custom made St. Croix rod last year (he's a custom rod builder [url "http://www.raynbowrods.com"]check out his site[/url] that I built for him) and I drewled all over it for 2 months during the salmon season. One day (maybe when i grow up) I'm going to have to get me one of those....
