[#000080]Maybe I'm lucky or my computer is working better than a lot of the people on here, but I don't mind the new format. The larger adds are a nuisance, but as Ol Coot mentioned, I know what I'm looking for, so I simply don't pay attention to the adds. Ok, here is one thing that I really, really miss from the old website format. When I had my computer home page set up to go right to the Utah BFT page I could look at the topics (General, For Sale, Boats&Motors, Hunting, etc.) and there was a little counter that told how many new posts were posted under the topic since I last checked it. If if would say, "5 new posts" then I might go to that topic and read the new posts. Now it doesn't tell you if there were any new posts so perhaps the programmer was thinking then the user would go to all the pages and scan for new posts. I'll tell you what it did instead. It simply does not make me want to waste any more time than I already do looking at posts since I'm not going to go to as many different topics to read the newest posts. I will keep up with the "general" section, but why should I have to go the "hunting" topics and then have to visually scan for anything new. When the old page told me there were new posts under the "for sale" topic I would always go there to see what was new that was for sale. I really liked having the "new posts" notification visible so I didn't have to looking to see what was new. This may have been designed to keep people "on" longer, but it has backfired for me since I'm not going to click on each topic to see what's new. Please bring the "new posts" notification back to each of the Utah topic boards. Thanks.[/#000080]
