This is my first post on here. I've been reading them forever, and I'm glad to finally contribute. I hit the lake this afternoon, launched from Lindon and fished up towards AF. Found a small school of white bass and picked up a few on a white road runner jig. Then just trolled a bit and caught a small LMB. I saw the carp we're feeding off the surface now that the wind wasn't howling and it was a little warmer out. I brought my bow as well and I shot two carp before my line broke and I lost my arrow. Didn't bring a spare like I normally do. Oh well, fun while it lasted. On my way back I fished of the north side of the Lindon Harbor and hooked into a huge Walleye with a yellow curly tail. Fought it for some time and got it tangled in my anchor line. Needless to say I was trying to net it and it got off. Pretty frustrating. Came back later that night and fished from the shore with my wife, and caught a couple muds and a nice channel. All in all a good day. Next time I'll make sure I've got batteries in the camera. I'm excited to be a part of this and look forward to chatting with yall.
