[cool][#0000ff]When the water gets warmer a lot of perch move close to shore. However, you will generally catch bigger fish by fishing just a bit deeper than where you are catching the small ones. And, the fish sometimes group by year class (size), so if you are catching nothing but bitty ones, move.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Perch will take a piece of worm, but they also hit jigs, spinners and even larger lures fished for bass and trout. One of the best offerings for decent perch is to use small tube jigs tipped with a piece of perch meat.[/#0000ff]
